Data protection notice

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 August 2026

This notice explains how OSQOM’s principal Greek operating company processes personal data through osqom.com and how visitors can exercise their rights.

1. Controller and scope

The controller for personal data collected through osqom.com is DEVELOPMENT AND NEW TECHNOLOGIES HUB P.C. (ΚΟΜΒΟΣ ΑΝΑΠΤΥΞΗΣ ΝΕΩΝ ΤΕΧΝΟΛΟΓΙΩΝ Ι.Κ.Ε.), operating under the OSQOM Group identity, with registered office at Distomou 1, 18532 Piraeus, Greece, VAT ID EL801496850 and G.E.MI. number 157992801000.

This notice applies to the corporate website and contact form. A different OSQOM legal entity may provide a separate notice where it independently determines the purposes and means of processing for another business, product or service.

2. Personal data we process

Contact enquiries: name, email address, message content and any information you voluntarily include. Name, email and message are required to submit the form; additional information is optional.

Technical and security data: IP address, request timestamps, browser or device information, error records and security events that may be generated by hosting and application infrastructure.

Consent and analytics data: your necessary and optional cookie choices, consent version and timestamps stored locally on your device. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics may process online identifiers, device and browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed and interaction data. Advertising cookies and personalised advertising are not enabled.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We respond to enquiries and take requested steps before a possible contract on the basis of GDPR Article 6(1)(b), or our legitimate interest in managing corporate and partnership communications under Article 6(1)(f).

We protect the website, prevent abuse, diagnose faults and maintain service availability on the basis of our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f).

We comply with legal, tax, regulatory and law-enforcement obligations under Article 6(1)(c). Optional device storage or analytics, if introduced, will be based on prior consent under Article 6(1)(a) and applicable electronic-communications law.

4. Recipients and processors

Personal data may be accessed by authorised OSQOM personnel who need it for the relevant purpose. We may use hosting, cloud infrastructure, security, technical support and email-delivery providers acting under contractual confidentiality and data-processing obligations. Google acts as an analytics provider only where the visitor has granted analytics consent.

We may disclose information to professional advisers or public authorities when necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, comply with law or protect persons, systems and rights. We do not sell personal data.

5. International transfers

Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we use an available GDPR transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, together with supplementary measures where required. Information about applicable safeguards may be requested using the contact details below.

6. Retention

Contact enquiries are normally retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless a longer period is necessary for a contract, legal obligation, dispute or documented business relationship.

Technical and security logs are retained for the shortest period reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting and legal compliance. Cookie-consent choices are retained on the device for up to six months. Google Analytics cookie duration is described in the Cookie Policy and Analytics data retention is administered through the relevant Google Analytics property settings. Data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required.

7. Your rights

Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.

Requests may be sent to osqom.com@gmail.com. We may request information needed to verify identity and will respond without undue delay and normally within one month. That period may be extended by up to two further months for complex or numerous requests, with notice of the extension.

8. Automated decisions, children and security

The corporate website does not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects. It is not intentionally directed to children. Please do not submit sensitive or unnecessary personal information through the general contact form.

We apply proportionate technical and organisational measures, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Complaints and changes

You may lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority at dpa.gr, particularly in the Member State of your residence, workplace or the alleged infringement. We encourage you to contact us first so we can review the issue.

We may revise this notice when processing activities, providers or legal requirements change. The current revision date appears above.
